The Two-Minute Rule
July 6, 2026

June brought a busy stretch of new go-lives across PatientPay's platform — from a Kansas critical access hospital and its rural clinics to surgical, GI, and specialty practices, plus another win on PatientPay Accelerate. Here's a look at what happened this month, and where we're headed next.
William Newton Hospital Brings PatientPay to Rural Kansas
William Newton Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Winfield and Cowley County, Kansas, went live on PatientPay across a group of its rural health clinics — including Hillside Family Medicine, its Winfield surgery and specialty clinics, and additional rural health locations. The launch is powered by our integration with Azalea Health, so payment data flows automatically between the EHR and PatientPay. Patients across south-central Kansas now have a modern, mobile-first way to understand and pay their bills, while the hospital's billing team sees less paper and fewer reconciliation headaches. We were proud to celebrate the go-live on LinkedIn — great work to everyone involved.
A Wave of Surgical and Specialty Go-Lives
June also welcomed a range of surgical and specialty providers onto our platforms:
Across all of them, the story is the same: payment data syncs automatically, staff spend less time on manual entry, and patients get a simpler, more transparent way to pay.
Simplex Health Goes Live on PatientPay Accelerate
Simplex Health — a provider reimagining chronic disease care with evidence-based protocols designed to prevent and even reverse conditions from type 2 diabetes to obesity and hypertension — is now live on PatientPay Accelerate. Simplex had been unable to process payer-issued virtual credit cards (VCCs) through their existing payment platform. With Accelerate, those payments are now captured, settled, and posted automatically — no manual keying, no missed windows, no reconciliation guesswork. It's exactly the kind of straight-through processing Accelerate was built for.
Stronger Safeguards Behind Every Payment
Beyond go-lives, June was a big month for the work patients never see. We rolled out enhanced, real-time transaction monitoring across the platform to catch fraud faster and keep every healthcare payment secure — no small task given how widely payment amounts and types vary in healthcare. Paired with our latest product release, it's part of our ongoing commitment to making digital payments not just easier, but safer and more reliable.
Where We're Headed Next: LeadingAge Southeast in Orlando
Looking ahead, the PatientPay team is headed to LeadingAge Southeast's 63rd Annual Convention & Exposition, July 13-15 at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. If your senior living or post-acute organization is rethinking how residents and families experience billing and payments, come find us on the show floor — we'd love to talk.
