We are looking for a JAVA Developer to join our incredibly dynamic development team.  Are you focused, self-motivated, and have previous development experience?  Do you want to join a creative and collaborative development team in a fast-paced company?  If so then we want to talk to you! 

The successful JAVA Developer should possess a strong background of JAVA programming experience.  In this role, the JAVA Developer would be responsible for working with the software development team to further develop the PatientPay portal application and troubleshoot product defects.



  • Work with the software development team to design and code the PatientPay portal application.

  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

  • Develop MYSQL queries and ad-hoc reports as needed.

  • Hands on experience with MYSQL clustering, replication, and partitioning.

  • Participate in the daily scrum and sprint planning.

  • Independently solve complex problems and introduces new perspective using existing solutions


  • 2-5 years JAVA/J2EE experience.

  • PL/SQL, Hibernate, Tomcat, JSP

  • UNIX Shell script, Spring, Struts, Web Services, XML

  • Familiarity with MySQL DBA tools

  • Javascript framework experience (i.e. Jquery, etc.)


  • Experience working with X12 EDI 837/835 claims processing.

  • Experience working with HL7 Standards.

  • Experience working with X12 EDI 270/271.

  • Experience working with Linux servers

  • Experience using Mirth Connect.

Business analyst


The purpose of the Business Analyst (BA) role is a key member of the Agile Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. The product owner will also help manage the sprint schedules to conform with product strategy priorities.

This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local development team, and reports into the leadership of Product Management. 



  • As a member of the extended Product Management team, the BA is heavily involved in program backlog refinement and prep for PI planning and also plays a significant role in the planning event itself. Before the planning event, the BA updates the team backlog and typically reviews and contributes to the program Vision, Roadmap, and content presentations. 

  • The BA is involved with story definition, providing the clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing. The BA also drafts the team’s specific objectives for the upcoming PI.

  • Possess functional knowledge of assigned application technology

  • Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests

  • Serve as a liaison between engineers, and business users

  • Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases

  • Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by Engineers

  • Interact with Engineers during the software build and/or configuration process and testing process

  • Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications

  • Ensure programs meet business specifications

  • Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking inputs on future direction

  • Review 3rd party specifications and documentation for systems integrations

  • Directly interface with business users by responding to support calls escalated by the customer support team

  • Consistent efforts to deliver quality solutions as per agreed scope

  • Customer focus and close alignment with the customers’ business objectives

  • Ensure efforts to continually improve domain knowledge

  • Ensure the quality of the deliverables as per the defined standards

  • Provide accurate and timely information and escalate when there are issues

  • Play the role of scrum master for select projects


  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience


  • 2-5 years experience in a business analyst or product owner role. Product owner prior experience preferred.  
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • 1-2 years of Healthcare Industry experience required
